Root Cause Analysis Training: Advanced Principles and Practices
During this two-day live virtual training, causal analysis experts will cover advanced concepts, techniques and strategies that will help participants improve their existing root cause analysis process. Key concepts include just culture model, investigative interviewing, communicating safety events to patients and families and strategies to operationalize and implement RCA improvement actions. This training will engage participants in an interactive learning opportunity that blends didactic presentations by subject matter experts and group case study reviews and exercises.
Additionally, the week prior to the course, participants will be asked to complete a pre-course assignment including selected reading and discussion forum posts.

Registration cancellations must be in writing and sent to Client Services at clientservices@ecri.org. Cancellation requests must be made at least 72 hours before the start date of the training. Each registrant who submits a cancellation request at least 72 hours before the start date of the scheduled training will receive a full refund less a $100 administrative fee.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 72 hours before the start date of the training. If a registrant plans to send someone else in their place, the registrant must notify ECRI before the date of the training. If ECRI must change the training date and a registrant is no longer able to attend, ECRI will refund the full amount of the registration fee.
