Our Operating Principles
Everything we do traces back to two things: our mission and our vision.
Mission
Advancing evidence-based and effective healthcare globally.
Vision
A world where safe, high-quality healthcare is accessible for everyone.
These aren't slogans on a wall — they're how we work, every day. Here's what that looks like in practice:
For everyone, everywhere, every time.
The Industry's Strictest Conflict-of-Interest Policy
For more than five decades, our strict conflict-of-interest (COI) policy has provided assurance about the integrity of our work. Our COI policy applies to our entire staff, extending beyond financial interest to include emotional and intellectual conflicts or bias.
Our Commitment
The success of our organization relies on the kind of creative thinking that can only result from a diverse team of individuals. ECRI is proud to be an employer of choice with an inclusive environment for all employees. As part of this goal and in compliance with various laws and regulations, ECRI provides reasonable accommodation to applicants and employees.
Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law.

Notice to Staffing Vendors, Search Firms, and Recruiting Agencies
At ECRI, we manage the recruitment process through the Human Resources Department. For candidates to be considered, they must be presented through one of the ECRI recruiters, who can be reached by emailing HRD@ecri.org. Third-party recruiters are not to contact any ECRI employees directly in an attempt to present candidates.
To protect the interests of all parties involved, ECRI requires a signed contract to be in place before the presentation of any candidates. ECRI does not accept unsolicited resumes from staffing vendors, including recruitment agencies and/or search firms, and does not pay fees to any such vendors without a current contract on file.
