
Just Culture Certification Course
Embark on your Just Culture journey with The Just Culture Company's standard Certification Course. Crafted with our “teachable, learnable” ethos, this e-learning experience ensures you learn the core concepts of Just Culture and earn the title of Just Culture Certified Champion.

“3-Days Over 3-Weeks” Intensive Format
Attend three half-days on a sequential day of each week (11am to 4pm Eastern) with a small cohort of e-Learners facilitated by a Just Culture Company Advisor. Each day includes case-based scenarios, strategies for conducting Threshold Investigations, and practice applying the Just Culture Algorithm. Expect some at-home assignments, designed to help you assess and apply the Just Culture in your workplace. At-home assignments are estimated to require 45 minutes to complete. Advisors host 30 minutes of optional Office Hours each day.
- Identify how the disciplines of human factors, behavioral economics, system engineering, and law inform the principles of Just Culture
- Describe how a just culture promotes psychological safety
- Describe five behaviors that serve as markers of human intention and the role of managers & organizations in shaping these behaviors
- Identify strategies for robust system design
- Describe the three duties (values, procedures, and outcomes)
- Identify elements of a sound threshold investigation
- Identify pathways within the Just Culture Algorithm used to evaluate specific breaches of duty
- Participate in practice scenarios
- Discuss how evaluations arising from the Just Culture Algorithm contribute to better system design, and improved cultural norms
- A printed copy of the Just Culture Algorithm v6
- Printed hard cover copy of "Dave's Subs: A Novel Story About Workplace Accountability"
- Eligibility to sit for the Just Culture Certification Exam, leading to certification as a Just Culture Champion.
