Leveraging IV Robotics to Optimize Sterile Compounding Practices to Improve Safety
This webinar will review the rationale for the use of IV robotics, as well as the challenges with adopting this technology, including a discussion of preparing for and implementing IV robotics, the need for obtaining 'buy-in' from leadership and pharmacy staff to purchase and implement IV robotics, and the role this technology has played in improving safety. The speaker will also discuss what processes need to change prior to implementation, lessons learned from both the implementation and use of IV robotics, as well as case examples of errors that occurred prior to IV robotics use and the safety improvement from its use. The program will end with a question-and-answer period.
