Shikha Anand, MD, MPH


Dr. Shikha Anand has 20 years of experience developing innovations and systems that improve health. Her leadership experience includes public health, research, consumer health technology, and clinical informatics. A practicing physician, Dr. Anand is board-certified in Clinical Informatics from the American Board of Preventive Medicine and Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics. She has previously led health innovation, equity, quality, and informatics initiatives at Withings (Global Chief Medical Officer), Well (Chief Medical Officer), Aetna/ CVS (Chief Medical Officer, Consumer Health Products), Walmart (National Medical Director), and a series of nonprofits and federally qualified health centers. She currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for two connected device companies, as well as a guest lecturer, startup mentor, and expert-in residence at Harvard School of Public Health and the Harvard Innovation Lab. As an expert in diversity, equity, and inclusion whose clinical practice serves under resourced families, she brings a unique perspective on how data and technology can be used to empower and improve the health of diverse populations at scale.

She earned her Doctor of Medicine at Albany Medical College and completed her Pediatrics Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Anand also holds a Masters in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health.
