A history of progress and impact
The Spark
Founder David Marx read John Nance's Blind Trust and became fascinated by the emerging science of human factors and its role in safety. As a Boeing engineer, he began applying engineering principles to human factors and safety.
Beyond one industry
David expanded that work across industries. It evolved into a systems-based approach to workplace justice.
Joining ECRI
The Just Culture Company became part of ECRI. Our expertise in workplace justice now sits alongside ECRI's global work in healthcare quality and safety.
