ECRI’s Sharon Rateike Earns Distinction in Healthcare Risk Management

ECRI Senior Patient Safety Advisor Sharon Rateike, MS, CPHQ, CPHRM, has been named a Fellow of the American Society for Health Care Risk Management (FASHRM), a prestigious distinction recognizing sustained leadership and significant contributions to the health care risk management field.

The FASHRM designation is awarded to professionals who meet rigorous criteria spanning academic and professional qualifications, continuing education, and meaningful contributions to the field through leadership, lecturing, and publishing. With this honor, Rateike joins an elite group of approximately 170 professionals nationwide who currently hold the FASHRM credential.

Sharon Rateike provides clinical risk management education, resources, and one-on-one support for community health centers and other ECRI clients across all healthcare sectors. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management.

ASHRM, a membership group of the American Hospital Association, is the nation’s leading  society for healthcare risk management professionals and those responsible for creating and maintaining safe environments within healthcare organizations.

Sharon holds an MS degree in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.
